Appointed as a BESTEC Director in 2010, Robert has developed an outstanding reputation for delivering Building Engineering Services on major construction projects. He is skilled in multi disciplinary Engineering Services project delivery and negotiation in the consulting sector.
Robert also currently lectures at the University of South Australia to the School of Natural and Built Environments on the principles of Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering Services. The second year students attending the lectures study Building Surveying Science, which is tailored on a career in Construction Management, Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying.
Robert’s interest also extends across the broader property and construction industry – he is a past member of the Property Council of Australia’s Regulations and Technical Standards Committee and the SA Power Network’s Customer Liaison Panel, which addressed issues and concerns from an electricity user’s perspective.
Mark began his BESTEC journey in January 2005 working in the Electrical Services discipline and was appointed as a BESTEC Director in 2015. Mark manages the BESTEC Victoria office and holds registered Building Practitioner status as an Electrical Services Engineer in Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
In Mark’s time at BESTEC he has successfully delivered a diverse range of major projects in the retail, residential, commercial, education, civic, correctional and industrial sectors. His ability to manage projects from design through to construction and his attention to detail has contributed to his outstanding reputation as a project team leader.
Originally from South Africa, Graham joined BESTEC in 1998 and was appointed as a Director just two years later.
Graham’s project experience includes both directorial and design responsibility for major products – including multi-storey offices, shopping centres, manufacturing facilities, convention facilities, defence facilities and airports.
Nick has been with BESTEC over 30 years – since the very beginning! Appointed as a Director in 2000, he has extensive design and construction experience and contributes significantly to internal management – for this reason, he adopts the role of project manager for many of BESTEC’s major projects, including healthcare, commercial office accommodation, retail, food processing and distribution centres.
